Following the design by architects RKW (Rode - Kellermann - Wawrowsky), the house in Dortmund was entirely rebuilt under the direction of Douglas Holding AG in the beginning of August 2005 (the sales business was continued during the reconstruction phase).

The height of the facade and the requirements of the design made it necessary to choose a steel structure with aluminum top profiles. The main entrance was designed as a PSP1 Portec folding portal system, including upper electro-mechanical central locking system.

The escalator railings were created as clamped glass construction system Portec in an all-glass design with an oval wooden handrail.
